La Santa Muerte is a Mexican folk Catholic saint of death who has many names such as La Santisima Muerte, La Nina, and La Huesita. La Santa Muerte is the embodiment of death with the highest power over life of any spirit or saint—second only to God. Many venerate her as she accepts people from all walks of life and does not discriminate against LGBTQ+, sex workers, criminals, and gang members. Many depict her as a grim reaper-like skeleton holding a scythe, scales, or a globe. We’re offering an Azteca Santa Muerte Statue that is from Mexico. She is often associated with the Aztec goddess of the underworld, Mictecacihuatl. When one is interested in matters dealing with the dead, necromancy, and spirits, the brown robe is an excellent choice to work with. This is the color of dirt and represents the graveyard. She is a conduit for communication between the living and the dead. This statue is made of resin. We further cleansed, blessed, charged, and it on her altar. The base of the statue is fixed with ingredients associated with La Santa Muerte. She comes with an Aztec incense blend that we made with rare herbs and resins from Mexico. The Aztecs often burned these ingredients as incense and for spiritual ceremonies or rituals. She measures approximately 12” x 5”. We added 24K gold to this statue.
