We’re offering a Filomena Lubana Hand Carved Candle that measures approximately 8” tall. It comes decorated, blessed, and fixed. It’s ready for a working.

Filomena Lubana has many names, including Santa Marta la Dominadora, Metresa Lubana, Metresa Marta Pye, La Colora, and La Morena. Santa Marta la Dominadora lives in the cemetery and comes in the form of a snake. She cleanses spaces of negativity and circles around men to cleanse their auras, making them more attractive to women.⁣ Many petition her to dominate men, situations, and enemies. She can help bring back a lover, bring peace in a relationship, or bring out the truth. She also aides in overcoming obstacles, dominating primitive impulses, and freeing a person of destructive thoughts.

In Sanse (Puerto Rican Vodou), Filomena Lubana syncretizes with Saint Martha, sister of Mary Magdalene and Lazarus. When we serve Filomena Lubana, we offer her coffee grounds with cinnamon, cloves, and star anise smothered in honey with a raw brown egg on top, dark flowers, orchids, black beans and rice, grape soda, black coffee, menthol cigarettes, cigars, anchovies, herring, and dry red wine. Her colors are green, purple, black, and red, though she likes all dark colors. She is served on the floor because she is a snake.

Her images often depict her holding a small boy. According to African folklore, she came across an orphan boy in the grips of a snake in a cemetery. She rescued the child by charming the snakes and raised him as her own.

We fix vigil candles with our oils, appropriate herbs, crystals, bones, dirts, and even gold, silver, or copper leaf to assist with manifesting your desires. We pray over your candle as we fix it for you. Custom requests are also available.

Candle Burn Reading

We can also burn these candles for you for an extra fee. We pray over your candle every day until it burns out. We photograph the burn result, provide a full report/reading on the signs and interpretations we see in the candle burn, and pull a card (SSA Playing Card or La Baraja Espanola) for insight regarding your situation and the energies involved. Your report may also include suggestions for further workings that could help improve your situation and move you closer to your goal. We refund shipping for this option.

We will ship your candle to you within 8 weeks of purchase. If we set and burn your candle for you, it may take up to 8 weeks for the candle to burn and for us to provide a candle report/reading and card pull.
