Mictecacihuatl is the Aztec goddess of the underworld, Mictlan. Some Mueteros associate her with La Santa Muerte.

As far as we know, Sancista Jennifer is the first to offer Mictecacihuatl Statues™, and she based their design on photos of Aztec statues on display in Mexico City at the Museo Nacional de Antropología.

Our Painted Mictecacihuatl Statue™ is handcrafted in Mexico by an artist from Oaxaca who uses clay harvested from the earth. It is then fired in an outdoor pit in the traditional way.

This statue measures approximately 7.5” x 4.5”.
